Ingredients
  

Pasta Salad
  • 12 oz short pasta rotini or penne
  • 6 slices bacon crispy and chopped
  • 1 cup peas thawed if frozen
Dressing
  • 0.75 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and cool.
  2. Cook bacon until crispy, drain, and chop.
  3. Whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream or yogurt, mustard, vinegar, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss pasta with dressing until evenly coated.
  5. Fold in bacon and peas gently.
  6. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, prepare a few hours ahead and adjust seasoning before serving.
