Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb steak sirloin or ribeye, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini refrigerated
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 0.5 cup pasta water reserved

Equipment

  • Large skillet
  • Pasta pot
  • Wooden spoon

Method
 

  1. Cook tortellini according to package directions. Reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Sear steak in olive oil over medium-high heat until browned. Remove and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in skillet, add garlic, and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in cream and parmesan until smooth.
  5. Add tortellini and pasta water, tossing to coat.
  6. Return steak to skillet, season, garnish, and serve.

Notes

Best served fresh. Reheat gently with extra cream if needed.
