Method
- Bring water to a boil and steep black tea for 3–5 minutes.
- Heat milk gently in a saucepan until steaming but not boiling.
- Stir vanilla extract and sweetener into the warm milk.
- Remove tea bags or strain tea leaves from brewed tea.
- Combine brewed tea and vanilla milk in mugs.
- Stir gently, garnish if desired, and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust sweetness and milk ratio to taste. Can be served iced.
