Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and butter a baking dish.
- Arrange brioche cubes evenly in the prepared baking dish.
- Whisk milk, cream, eggs, sugars, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Pour custard over brioche and let rest 20 minutes.
- Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and set in the center.
- Meanwhile, cook sugar in a saucepan until amber. Add butter and cream carefully.
- Stir in vanilla and remove from heat.
- Serve bread pudding warm with caramel sauce.
Notes
Best served warm; leftovers can be reheated gently.
