Ingredients
  

Bread Pudding
  • 6 cups brioche bread cubed
  • 3 eggs large
  • 1.5 cups whole milk
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar packed
  • 0.25 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 0.25 tsp salt
Caramel Sauce
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and butter a baking dish.
  2. Arrange brioche cubes evenly in the dish.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour custard over bread and let soak 15–20 minutes.
  5. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes until golden and set.
  6. Prepare caramel sauce by melting sugar, then adding butter and cream.
  7. Drizzle warm caramel sauce over bread pudding before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream for best flavor.
