Ingredients
  

Crust
  • 2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter melted
Filling
  • 24 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 eggs large
  • 6 oz dark chocolate melted
  • 2 tbsp orange zest
  • 1 cup sour cream
Ganache
  • 4 oz dark chocolate chopped
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C). Prepare crust and bake 10 minutes.
  2. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  3. Add eggs one at a time. Mix in melted chocolate, orange zest, and sour cream.
  4. Pour into crust and bake in water bath 55–70 minutes.
  5. Cool gradually, then refrigerate at least 6 hours.
  6. Prepare ganache and pour over chilled cheesecake.

Notes

For best results, chill overnight before slicing.
