Ingredients
  

Sandwich
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast sliced
  • 1 ripe avocado mashed
  • 4 slices sandwich bread
  • 4 slices cheese mozzarella or provolone
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.25 tsp black pepper
  • 0.25 tsp salt

  • Spatula

Method
 

  1. Season sliced chicken with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Mash avocado with a pinch of salt and lemon juice if desired.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with oil or butter.
  4. Spread avocado on bread slices, layer chicken and cheese, and close sandwiches.
  5. Cook sandwiches 3–4 minutes per side until bread is golden and cheese melted.
  6. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use ripe avocados and low-medium heat for the best melt.
