Method
- Simmer cherries and sugar in a saucepan until syrupy, about 5–7 minutes.
- Strain syrup if desired and set aside.
- Boil water and steep Earl Grey tea for 4–5 minutes.
- Stir cherry syrup into tea.
- Add milk and vanilla extract.
- Serve hot or pour over ice for iced version.
Notes
Adjust sweetness to taste. Store cherry syrup up to 5 days refrigerated.
