Ingredients
  

Tea Base
  • 2 tsp Earl Grey tea loose or bags
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 cup milk any type
Cherry Syrup
  • 0.5 cup cherries pitted
  • 2-3 tbsp sugar adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp vanilla extract optional

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Fine sieve
  • Teapot or mug
  • Whisk or milk frother

Method
 

  1. Simmer cherries and sugar for 5–7 minutes until soft and juicy.
  2. Mash and simmer 3–5 more minutes, then strain syrup and cool.
  3. Brew Earl Grey tea in hot water for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Add cherry syrup to brewed tea and stir.
  5. For hot version: heat milk, froth, and pour into tea.
  6. For iced version: cool tea, pour over ice, add milk, and stir.

Notes

Adjust sweetness to preference. Use oat milk for extra creaminess.
