Ingredients
  

Vegetables
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup carrots sliced
  • 1 cup bell peppers chopped
Cheese Sauce
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1.5 cups cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Blanch vegetables briefly and drain well.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet, sauté onion and garlic.
  4. Stir in flour, then slowly whisk in milk until thickened.
  5. Add cheese and seasonings, stir until melted.
  6. Fold vegetables into sauce and transfer to dish.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

Use fresh or frozen vegetables and customize cheeses to taste.
