Ingredients
  

Casserole Base
  • 2 cups cooked ham diced
  • 1.5 cups frozen peas
  • 2 cups cooked pasta
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup cream or whole milk
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan, whisk in flour, then slowly add milk or cream.
  3. Season sauce and stir in half the cheese until smooth.
  4. Combine pasta, ham, peas, and sauce in a bowl.
  5. Transfer to baking dish, top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake 18–22 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

Add breadcrumbs for crunch or extra vegetables for variation.
