Ingredients
  

Garlic Loaf
  • 1 large crusty bread loaf
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
Filling
  • 450 g thinly sliced beef steak
  • 1 medium onion sliced
  • 2 bell peppers sliced
  • 250 g provolone cheese sliced or shredded

Equipment

  • Mixing bowls

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet.
  2. Mix butter with garlic and seasoning.
  3. Sauté onions and peppers, then add steak and cook briefly.
  4. Slice and hollow bread, spread garlic butter inside.
  5. Layer cheese, steak filling, and more cheese inside loaf.
  6. Close loaf, butter outside, wrap in foil and bake.
  7. Uncover and bake until golden and melted.
  8. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Use thin steak slices for best texture and avoid overcooking.
