Ingredients
  

Beef Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
Cheddar Biscuit Topping
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter cold, cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking dish.
  2. Brown ground beef with onion and garlic. Season and add broth, Worcestershire, and tomato paste.
  3. Simmer until slightly thickened and transfer to baking dish.
  4. Mix biscuit topping ingredients until just combined.
  5. Drop biscuit dough over beef mixture.
  6. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
