Method
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cook onions in olive oil and butter over medium heat until softened.
- Reduce heat and caramelize onions for 25–35 minutes until golden.
- Stir in balsamic vinegar and cool slightly.
- Roll and cut puff pastry into desired shapes.
- Spread goat cheese inside scored borders.
- Top with caramelized onions and thyme.
- Brush edges with egg wash and bake 18–22 minutes until golden.
Notes
For extra richness, drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
