Method
- Heat butter in a skillet and brown the sliced sausage. Remove and set aside.
- Add onion to the same skillet and cook until softened.

- Return sausage to skillet, cover, and simmer until rice is tender.
- Fluff rice, adjust seasoning, and serve warm.
