Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz elbow macaroni
  • 2 cups cooked brisket chopped or shredded
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup smoked gouda shredded
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese grated

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta until al dente, drain and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in saucepan, whisk in flour and cook briefly.
  3. Slowly add milk and cream, whisking until thickened.
  4. Stir in cheeses until smooth.
  5. Fold in pasta and brisket, season to taste, and serve or bake.

Notes

Use leftover smoked brisket for best flavor.
