Method
- Boil water and cook tapioca pearls according to package instructions until chewy.
- Drain pearls and toss with brown sugar while warm. Set aside.
- Brew black tea in hot water for 5–7 minutes. Cool completely.
- Add pearls to serving glasses.
- Pour chilled tea over pearls, then add milk and sweetener.
- Stir well and serve with a wide straw.
Notes
Adjust sweetness and milk ratio to taste. Best enjoyed fresh.
