Ingredients
  

Sandwich
  • 4 slices thick-cut bread brioche or sourdough
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries
  • 4-6 slices mozzarella, brie, or white cheddar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1 tsp honey optional
  • 1 pinch sea salt optional

Equipment

  • Skillet
  • Spatula
  • Cutting board
  • Butter knife

Method
 

  1. Rinse and dry blueberries thoroughly.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place two slices butter-side down and layer with cheese.
  4. Add blueberries evenly and drizzle with honey if desired.
  5. Top with another layer of cheese and remaining bread slices butter-side up.
  6. Cook in a skillet over medium-low heat for 3–4 minutes until golden.
  7. Flip and cook another 3–4 minutes until cheese is melted.
  8. Rest briefly, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Use low heat for best melting and crisp texture.
