Ingredients
  

Bread Pudding
  • 6 cups brioche or French bread cubes day-old
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 eggs large
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  • 0.25 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease baking dish.
  2. Place bread cubes in prepared dish.
  3. Whisk milk, cream, eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt.
  4. Pour mixture over bread and press gently.
  5. Let soak 15–20 minutes.
  6. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and set.
  7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For extra richness, drizzle with vanilla sauce before serving.
