Ingredients
  

Burrito Filling
  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 preferred
  • 1 onion diced
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Assembly
  • 4 large flour tortillas

Method
 

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté onion until soft.
  2. Add garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  3. Brown ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
  4. Season beef with spices and stir in tomato paste or salsa.
  5. Warm tortillas until soft and pliable.
  6. Fill tortillas with beef and cheese, then roll tightly.
  7. Optional: Toast burritos in a skillet until lightly golden.
