- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until softened. Stir in garlic.
- Season with chili powder, paprika, cumin, black pepper, salt, onion powder, and oregano.
- Add salsa or tomato sauce and simmer for 3–4 minutes.
- Warm tortillas until soft and pliable.
- Fill each tortilla with beef mixture and shredded cheese.
- Roll tightly into burritos.
- Optional: pan-sear for a crispy exterior.
Notes
For extra creamy burritos, add a spoonful of cream cheese to the beef mixture before assembling.
