Gnocchi Base
  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 3 yellow onions thinly sliced
  • 1.5 cups Gruyère cheese shredded
  • 0.5 cup mozzarella cheese shredded

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. Caramelize onions in butter and olive oil over medium heat until golden.
  3. Add garlic, thyme, flour, broth, and cream to form a sauce.
  4. Stir gnocchi into sauce and transfer to baking dish.
  5. Top with cheese and bake until bubbly and golden.
