- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Toss sliced apples with lemon juice in a large bowl.
- Add sugars, spices, vanilla, flour, and butterscotch chips; mix well.
- Transfer apple mixture to baking dish and spread evenly.
- Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt for topping.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.
- Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
