Beer Bread Batter
  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 12 oz beer room temperature

  • Loaf pan
  • Wire rack

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a loaf pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix self-rising flour and sugar.
  3. Pour in beer and stir gently until just combined.
  4. Transfer batter to loaf pan and smooth the top.
  5. Bake 45–50 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  6. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
